Q.  How many people are served daily by CAM projects?
A. CAM sponsors a variety of programs that serve the poorest communities in Central America. An estimated 7,000 are served annualy through our ministries.
 
 
 
Q.  How do I make a donation?
A. CAM appreciates any financial support you can offer. Contact us at 734-222-0701 to make a donation by phone. You can also donate online.
 
 
 
Q.  Do you have to be Catholic to attend a CAM Mission Trip?
A. No. CAM welcomes volunteers from all faiths and walks of life to participate in its mission experiences.
 
 
 
Q.  I’ve missed the application deadline for the CAM Mission Trip I am interested in, is it too late to apply?
A. Not necessarily. Sometimes we have unexpected openings and are able to accept late applications. Contact our International Program Director at apawuk@camon-line.org for more

Q.  Can I use a credit card to pay for my mission trip?
A.  Yes. CAM accepts most major credit cards. Contact us at 734-222-0701 to make a credit card payment.
 
 
 
Q.  I am not a Spanish speaker. Should I consider a CAM Mission Trip?
A. Absolutely! Many of CAM’s Mission Trip participants do not speak Spanish. Our programs are set up to accommodate non-Spanish speakers as well as bilingual participants.
 
 
 
Q.  My organization is interested in getting involved in CAM’s mission. How do I start this process?
A.  CAM’s work is extremely extensive, and we welcome the collaboration of other institutions! Contact Oscar Dussan at 734-222-0701 for information on how your organization can serve the least of God’s children.
 
 
 
Q.  I am interested in serving as a Team Advisor for a student mission experience, but I have never traveled outside of the United States. Am I eligible to serve in this capacity?
A. Yes. As long as an individual shows a genuine interest in working with students and serving the poor, CAM often accepts applications from adults who have never traveled internationally.
 
 
 
Q.  Is there an age requirement for Team Advisors?
A. Yes. CAM requires that all Team Advisors are at least 21 years of age at the time of departure.
 
 
 
Q.  Are the garbage dump communities like the ones CAM serves exclusively from Central America?
A. No. Unfortunately it is a global problem than can be found in the majority of the developing countries. As an example, in the Philippines more than 12,000 people live in severe poverty at the Payatas garbage dump. In Egypt, there is big community of people who work and live in what is
locally known in Cairo as garbage city. And this community is even bigger that the one in the Philippines.
